Mark Freidkin started his music career as a member of the rock band "Goi" in the late 1970s. The band was known for their unique blend of rock and folk music, and Freidkin's lyrics often dealt with social and political issues of the time. In 1981, he released his first solo album, "Heavy Song" which was followed by several other albums throughout his career, including "What's the Difference?" and "Tales of the Golden Fish".
