James 'Cannonball' Green (July 28, 1917 Cape Town-June 24, 1998) a.k.a. James 'Cannonball' Greene was a South African actor.

He was known for his roles in films such as “Man in the Middle” (1963), “Ride a Wild Pony” (1975), and “Shout at the Devil” (1976). Despite being a successful actor in South Africa, he left the country in the 1960s due to the apartheid government and worked in the United Kingdom and Australia for several years before eventually settling in the United States. Green continued to act in Hollywood films throughout the 1980s and 1990s, and also appeared in several television shows. Outside of his acting career, he was an accomplished rugby player and served in the South African Air Force during World War II.
