She is best known for her work in British films during the 1950s and 1960s, including roles in "The Giant Behemoth" (1959), "A Prize of Gold" (1955), and "The Tommy Steele Story" (1957). Collier was also a stage actress, performing in plays such as "The Boy Friend" and "Lock Up Your Daughters". In addition to her acting career, she was a model and beauty queen, winning the title of Miss South Africa in 1953. Collier passed away at the age of 35 due to complications from cirrhosis of the liver.
