Prior to her debut, she trained under famous K-pop entertainment companies such as YG Entertainment and Cube Entertainment. She became popular after a fancam of her performing the group's song "Up & Down" went viral in 2014.
Aside from being a member of EXID, LE has also worked as a songwriter and producer for various artists in the K-pop industry, including IU and Hyuna. In addition, she has released solo music under the stage name Elly.
Outside of her music career, LE has also made appearances on various Korean variety shows such as "Show Me the Money" and "Crime Scene." She has been praised for her rapping skills and has won multiple awards for her contributions to the K-pop industry.
