Miguel Gallardo

Miguel Gallardo (September 29, 1950 Granada-November 11, 2005 Madrid) also known as Gallardo, Miguel or José Miguel Gallardo Vera was a Spanish actor and singer-songwriter.

He became famous for his romantic ballads, including "Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti" and "Otro Ocupa Mi Lugar". Starting in the 1980s, Gallardo also began carving out a successful acting career, appearing in several films and TV shows such as "Fiebre del oro", "Estudio 1" and "Hostal Royal Manzanares". He won a Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1997 for his role in "Carreteras Secundarias". Tragically, Gallardo was diagnosed with leukemia in 2002 and died in 2005 at the age of 55. His music and acting legacy continues to inspire fans across Spain and beyond.
