He had three children, Carmen Beatrice de Vilallonga y Scott-Ellis, John Alfonso Stephen de Vilallonga y Scott-Ellis and Fabricio de Villalonga y Stella.
Vilallonga began his career as an actor in Spain, appearing in films such as "El Marqués de Salamanca" and "La Reina de Chiva". He later moved to Hollywood and acted in several American films, including "The Sun Also Rises" and "King Creole".
