He was the lead singer of the iconic Spanish rock band, Los Secretos, which was founded in 1978. With a career spanning over two decades, Urquijo has been credited as one of the pioneers of Spanish rock music. Some of his most prominent hits include "Déjame," "Quiero beber hasta perder el control," and "Ojos de gata." In addition to his work with Los Secretos, Urquijo also released two solo albums in the 90s. Unfortunately, Urquijo passed away at the age of 39 due to a heroin overdose, leaving behind a rich contribution to Spanish music.
