Linnéa Hillberg

Linnéa Hillberg (October 26, 1892 Uddevalla-July 3, 1977 Stockholm) also known as Linnéa Paulina Hillberg, Linnea Hillberg or Linnéa Paulina Nilsson was a Swedish actor.

She started her career as an actor in a touring theater group and later joined the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. Some of her notable performances were in the movies "In the Country of Desire" (1929), "Brothers" (1932) and "Crisis" (1946). Hillberg also wrote a number of stage plays and screenplays during her career.

Apart from acting, Hillberg was also a social activist and was involved with various organizations promoting women's rights and social welfare. She was a member of the Landsföreningen för Kvinnans Politiska Rösträtt (National Association for Women's Suffrage) and also worked closely with the International Association of Women.

Hillberg retired from acting in the late 1950s and devoted her time to writing and activism. In 1973, she was awarded the Illis Quorum medal by the Swedish government for her contributions to the arts and social welfare.
