Angelines Fernández

Angelines Fernández (July 9, 1924 Madrid-March 25, 1994 Cuauhtémoc, D.F.) a.k.a. Angelines Fernandez, Angelines Fernández Abad, María de los Ángeles Fernández Abad or María de los Ángeles "Angelines" Fernández Abad was a Spanish actor. She had one child, Paloma Fernández.

Angelines Fernández is best known for her role as Doña Clotilde in the Mexican television series "El Chavo del Ocho". Fernández began her acting career in Spain, and later moved to Mexico where she acted in over 50 films and television shows, including "El Chavo del Ocho" from 1972 to 1979. She won the Ariel Award, Mexico's highest film award, for Best Supporting Actress in 1954 for her role in the film "Nosotros los pobres". Fernández was also a singer, and recorded several albums in the 1950s and 1960s. She passed away in 1994 at the age of 69 due to lung cancer.
