I believe you may have meant to say that Katharine Merry is a British former track and field athlete, not an actor.
Merry competed in the 400 meters and was the bronze medalist at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. She won a gold medal at the 1999 World Championships in Seville as part of the British 4x400 meter relay team.
After retiring from athletics in 2005, Merry worked as a sports commentator and presenter for the BBC. She has also worked as a motivational speaker and fitness advocate.
