Kate Barry (April 8, 1967 London-December 11, 2013 Paris) was a British actor, photographer, television producer, television director and screenwriter. Her child is called Roman de Kermadec.

Kate Barry was the daughter of actress and singer Jane Birkin and composer John Barry. She grew up in a family surrounded by famous artists and musicians, which inspired her artistic career.

As a photographer, Kate Barry gained recognition for her intimate portraits of celebrities, including Charlotte Gainsbourg, Vanessa Paradis, and Romy Schneider. She also worked as a television producer, director and screenwriter, and contributed to several critically acclaimed television and film productions such as "The Cement Garden" and "Charlotte for Ever."

Tragically, Barry died at the age of 46 in 2013 when she fell from the fourth floor of her Paris apartment. Her sudden death shocked the artistic community, and her legacy continues to live on through her beautiful and personal body of work.
