Zhao Huishen

Zhao Huishen (May 1, 1914 Yibin County-December 4, 1967) also known as Huishen Zhao was a Chinese actor.

He started his acting career in Shanghai, China in the 1930s and later moved to Hong Kong in the 1950s. He was particularly famous for his roles in martial arts and wuxia films. Some of his most notable works include "One-Armed Swordsman", "The Assassin", and "The Magnificent Concubine". Huishen Zhao was also a member of the Chinese Nationalist Party and served as a representative in the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. Despite his success on both the stage and in politics, Zhao suffered from depression which ultimately led to his suicide in 1967.
