Lin Huiyin (June 10, 1904 Hangzhou-April 1, 1955 Beijing Tongren Hospital) a.k.a. Phyllis Lin or Lin Whei-yin was a Chinese writer and architect. She had two children, Liang Congjie and Liang Zaibing.
Lin Huiyin was popularly known for her architectural work especially for the design of Tsinghua University's campus in Beijing. She was highly influential in promoting the traditional Chinese architecture and design. She even wrote several books on the history and development of Chinese architecture which also served as an inspiration for several architects in China during that time. Apart from being an architect, she was also a talented writer and poet. Her literary works were mainly focused on the social issues and cultural identity of modern China. Despite her untimely death at the age of 51, her contribution to the Chinese cultural and architectural heritage remains significant even today.
She died caused by tuberculosis.
