Joe Arroyo (November 1, 1955 Cartagena-July 26, 2011 Barranquilla) a.k.a. Arroyo, Joe, Álvaro José Arroyo González or El Joe was a Colombian record producer, singer-songwriter and composer.

His most important albums: Somos Seres, Cruzando el milenio, El baile del siglo, Grandes Exitos, 20th Anniversary, Lo Salsero De, Mi libertad, La Noche, and Toque de clase. Genres he performed include Salsa music, Cumbia, Porro and Tropical music.

He was known for his unique style, often combining traditional Colombian rhythms with modern instrumentation and arrangements. Arroyo was considered a pioneer in the salsa genre in his home country and was awarded numerous accolades throughout his career, including several Latin Grammy nominations. In addition to his musical accomplishments, he was also known for his philanthropy work, particularly for his support of children's education and health initiatives.
