Caitlin Clarke (May 3, 1952 Pittsburgh-September 9, 2004 Sewickley) a.k.a. Catherine Ann Clarke, Caitlin Clark, Celia McGuire or Katherine Anne Clarke was an American actor and instructor.
She died in ovarian cancer.
Clarke was best known for her stage and screen work, including her breakout role as Valerian in the 1981 film Dragonslayer. She also appeared in other films such as Pennies from Heaven and Ghostbusters. Clarke had a successful stage career, performing in Broadway productions of The Marriage of Figaro and Titanic, as well as numerous off-Broadway and regional productions. In addition to her acting work, Clarke was a respected instructor, teaching at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She was born in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York, and began her career as a model before transitioning to acting in the 1940s.
