He's best known as the lead vocalist and bassist of the American rock band Eve 6. Born in Northern California, Collins began playing bass guitar and writing songs as a teenager. In 1995, he formed Eve 6 with his high school friends Jon Siebels and Tony Fagenson. The band rose to fame in the late 90s with hit singles such as "Inside Out" and "Here's to the Night".
