Ramon Magsaysay
Ramon Magsaysay (August 31, 1907 Iba, Zambales-March 17, 1957 Balamban) a.k.a. Ramón del Fierro Magsaysay or Ramón "Monching" Magsaysay was a Filipino politician, engineer, journalist and soldier. His children are Ramon Magsaysay, Jr., Teresita Banzon-Magsaysay and Milagros "Mila" Banzon-Magsaysay.
Ramon Magsaysay was the seventh President of the Philippines, serving from 1953 until his untimely death in 1957. He is known for his advocacy of social and economic reforms, as well as his efforts to combat corruption in the government. Gabriel Elorde (March 25, 1935 Bogo, Cebu-January 2, 1985) also known as Gabriel "Flash" Elorde or Flash was a Filipino professional boxer. He had three children, Gabriel Elorde Jr., Johnny Elorde and Marty Elorde.
Elorde was a legendary boxer from the Philippines, widely considered as one of the greatest super featherweights in history. He held the world super featherweight championship for over seven years, reigning from 1960 until 1967. During his career, he won a total of four world titles in two different weight divisions, and was a three-time lineal champion. Elorde was known for his exceptional speed and footwork, as well as his ability to take a punch. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1993, and is still remembered as a national sports hero in the Philippines.
