Bonatsos started his career as a singer in the 1970s, releasing several albums and becoming popular with hits like "Taxidi sta Kythira" and "Deka mikroi Mitsoi". He later transitioned into presenting and acting, becoming a household name in Greece. He hosted the popular TV show "Al Tsantiri News" for over a decade and starred in numerous film and theater productions. Bonatsos was known for his quick wit and humorous personality, and was widely beloved by the Greek public. He passed away in 2004 at the age of 54 due to complications related to lung cancer.
