Nazir Ahmed Khan (April 5, 2015 Lahore-August 28, 1983 Lahore) a.k.a. Nazir, Nazir Ahmed Shah, Nazir Sahib, Bao Jee or Nazir Ahmad Khan was an Indian actor, film producer and film director. He had five children, Afzal Nazir, Suraiya Nazir, Akhtar Nazir, Aslam Nazir and Ismat Nazir.
Nazir started his acting career in silent movies and rose to fame in the 1930s with the advent of talkies. He acted in over 275 films and also produced and directed several movies. He is considered one of the pioneers of the Pakistani film industry.
Nazir was also known for his philanthropy and social work. He served as the president of the Pakistan Actors Guild and was involved in several charities, particularly those focused on education and healthcare.
