Anna Maria Alberghetti is best known for her roles in musical films and on Broadway. She began her career as a child prodigy in Italy, winning a talent competition at the age of 6. She went on to perform in operas and concerts throughout Europe before moving to the United States in the early 1950s.
In 1951, Alberghetti made her American film debut in "The Medium" and went on to star in several musical films, including "Here Comes the Groom" (1951) and "The Stars Are Singing" (1953). She also appeared on Broadway in musicals such as "Carnival!" and "The Most Happy Fella."
