Sharifah Aini (July 2, 1953 Johor Bahru-July 5, 2014 Damansara Utama) also known as Aini, Sharifah or Sharifah Aini Syed Jaafar was a Malaysian singer. Her child is Aliff Omar Ali.

Sharifah Aini started her music career when she was discovered by P. Ramlee in the 1960s. Her first album, "Bengawan Solo", was released in 1969 and became a huge hit.
