Fernando Cortés

Fernando Cortés was a Mexican film producer and actor.

He was born on February 5, 1918 in Mexico City. After studying law, he began his career in the film industry as an assistant director. He went on to produce and act in numerous films in Mexico, including "El rey del barrio" and "El hombre de papel."

Cortés's career spanned over four decades and he was known as one of the most successful film producers in the history of Mexican cinema. He produced films in a variety of genres, including drama, comedy, and action, and worked with some of the most famous actors and directors in the industry.

In addition to his work in film, Cortés was also involved in politics and served in the Mexican Senate from 1964 to 1970. He died on March 3, 1984 at the age of 66.
