Miodrag 'Mladja' Veselinovic

Miodrag 'Mladja' Veselinovic (April 21, 1915 Kragujevac-December 27, 2012 Belgrade) also known as Mladja Veselinovic, Mladen Veselinovic or Mlađa Veselinović was a Serbian actor.

He started his acting career in the 1930s in Belgrade theaters, but his big break came after World War II when he appeared in the film "The Battle of Neretva" (1969), one of the most expensive and ambitious Yugoslav films ever made. He went on to appear in over 100 films and television series, establishing himself as one of the most prominent actors in Yugoslavia and Serbia. Veselinovic was also a member of the Yugoslav Partisans during World War II, for which he was awarded the prestigious Partisan Memorial Cross. In addition to acting, he was also a painter and a musician, playing the accordion and the guitar. Veselinovic remained active in his profession until his death in 2012 at the age of 97.
