Ferdinand Daučík
Ferdinand Daučík (May 30, 1910 Šahy-November 14, 1986 Alcalá de Henares) was a Slovak personality. His child is called Yanko Daucik.
Ferdinand Daučík was a well-known Slovak football player and manager, who achieved great success both on and off the field. As a player, he played for several clubs in Czechoslovakia and Spain, including FC Barcelona and Spain's national team. It was as a manager, however, that Daučík really made a name for himself. He began his managerial career in Spain, where he led several clubs to success, including Atlético Madrid, Valencia CF, and RCD Espanyol.
In 1954, Daučík was appointed the manager of the Hungarian national team, a position he held for several years. In 1958, he returned to Spain as the manager of FC Barcelona, where he led the team to win several domestic and international titles.
