Yoo Chae-yeong started her career in the entertainment industry as a member of the popular K-pop girl group, Fin.K.L, in 1998. The group was one of the most successful girl groups in South Korea during the late 90s and early 2000s, producing hits such as "Eternal Love" and "Now". After Fin.K.L disbanded in 2002, Yoo Chae-yeong pursued a solo career and released several albums, including "Today" and "Happiness".
