Catfish Collins (October 17, 1943-August 6, 2010 Cincinnati) a.k.a. Phelps Collins or Phelps J. Collins was an American musician.
He was best known for being the guitarist and musical director for James Brown during the 1970s, as well as a member of the band Parliament-Funkadelic. Collins was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as a member of Parliament-Funkadelic. He passed away in Cincinnati in August 2010 at the age of 66.
